About Us
The Rivet Company Ltd (formerly Scell-it UK) is a trusted supplier of high-quality Construction Fixings, Rivets, Rivet nuts, and Setting Tools at highly competitive prices. Our comprehensive product range is designed to cater to the building trade and distributor markets across the UK.
As a small company with big ambitions, we've kept our operations lean and efficient. This streamlined approach translates into lower overheads, enabling us to pass significant cost savings on to our customers. It's why our prices are consistently hard to beat.
Despite our compact size, we offer the resources and infrastructure of a much larger organization. Our centrally-located, well-stocked warehouse in Stafford is supported by an additional warehouse in Kidderminster enabling us to hold over £3.5 million worth of stock. This means we're equipped to provide quick and reliable next-day delivery (subject to location).
All our staff are highly experienced and ready to help. They all have many years of experience in the trade and will advise and answer any of your customers' questions or problems.
Expanded UK Presence
In mid 2024 we announced the acquisition of Rivco Ltd and Kamtech Fasteners (ARK brand), further cementing our position as one of the UK's leading distributors of Construction Fixings, Rivets, Rivet nuts, and Setting Tools. These acquisitions strengthened the Scell-it (UK) Group's already wide-ranging product portfolio, which now includes well-known brands such as HUCK (via Rivco), FAR, RIVIT, and LOBSTER.
A Big Change
Big changes are happening at Scell-it UK – and all for the better.
'The Rivet Company' is now the new name for our merged businesses of Scell-it UK, Kamtech Fasteners, and Arpel. Alongside our partner company Rivco, we will be the exclusive distributors of the ELEMENT brand in the UK and Ireland.
ELEMENT was introduced in Europe over 15 years ago and the brand is recognized worldwide for its quality and reliability. It will gradually replace the former Scell-it (UK) Group product branding of ARK and Scell-it, but while the name and brand has changed, no products have changed! The rivets, fixings, and setting tools – along with the quality and service behind them – remain exactly the same as before.
The move is designed to simplify operations and strengthen supply across both the UK and Ireland markets.
Packaging has been redesigned with clearer labels and full traceability, while the core product range remains unchanged.
By consolidating more than £3.5 million worth of stock across two warehouses into one central system, we will streamline operations and improve delivery times, with a strong focus on next-day service.
